AIDS-related cancers

a large number of AIDS patients will develop a cancer at some point. With the advent of newer drugs, we are seeing an increase in the survival of such patients. This is, however, associated with an increase in the number of cancer cases in long-term survivors.

AIDS patients can develop any of the following cancers:

• Kaposi's Sarcoma (KS)

• Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma,

• Uterine Cervix

• Anal

• Lung
