BEP and VIP regimens

The following regimens are used in treatment of testis cancer. VIP regimen can also be used in patients with other cancers ( lung cancer, lymphoma, etc.)

BEP

Bleomycin	30 units	Weekly for 8 weeks
Etoposide (VP-16)	100 Mg per M2	Days # 1 to 5
Cisplatinum	20 Mg per M2	Days # 1 to 5

VIP

Etoposide (VP-16)	100 Mg per M2	Days # 1 to 5
Ifosfamide	1200 Mg per M2	Days # 1 to 5
Cisplatinum	40 Mg per M2	Days # 1 to 5

All drugs are given intravenously, the cycle is repeated in 3 weeks, as soon as patient recovers for the side effects.

M2 is the body surface area that is square footage of patients body surface. This is measures based on height and weight of the patient.
