Experimental Drugs

In the United States, any drug that is not approved by Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ) is considered experimental. Newer drugs have to be tested under very close monitoring before they are released to the market.

Many people are under the impression that anything experimental must be better than already available medicines. This is not true at all. Very few of experimental drugs prove to be effective, and very few are found to be more effective than currently available medicines.

There are thousands of drugs that are in experimental phases and we are not able to discuss each and every one of them here. Following is a list of some newer drugs:
