Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Mantle Cell ( zone ) Lymphoma is a unique type of non Hodgkin's lymphoma with very distinct features.  Patients with this disease have a worse prognosis due to rapidly progressive and incurable nature of this illness. Standard R-CHOP chemotherapy is considered the chemotherapy of choice, however, patients who have an indolent form of this condition, may be treated with less aggressive regimens. Hyper CVAD with Rituxan is a newer combination chemotherapy for this illness.
