MRI

This is a radiology procedure in which the patient lays on a table and enters into the machine's space. Radio waves ( not radioactive) are projected at the part of the body being studied. The machine uses a sophisticated computer system to create detailed images of the body. There is a very powerful magnetic field around the machine.
