Zofran

Zofran is the most effective medicine to prevent and treat chemotherapy induced Nausea and Vomiting. With the advent of Zofran and using it in conjunction with Decadron patients are able to tolerate the cancer treatments much better now. Zofran and Decadron are administered intravenously prior to chemotherapy and may be repeated afterwards, if needed. Zofran also comes in oral tablets which may be used after the chemotherapy. Zofran is a rather well tolerated medicine and has no significant side effects.
